Advanced Trademark Law
This course will explore current developments in trademark and advertising law, primarily through recent federal court decisions under the Lanham Act. Case materials are updated annually. Topics include dilution, fair use, extraterritorial application of trademark laws, and trademark issues in contextual advertising. By reading full decisions, students will also become familiar with federal court procedural issues.Credits: 2
