I-PREP
BUILDING CONFIDENCE AND SKILLS

YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND TIME CAN HELP OTHERS FOR A LIFETIME…

I-PREP (Interview Practice and Review for Emerging Professionals) is a volunteer program offered by Fordham Law in conjunction with FEGS Health and Human Services System. Fordham Law School students, like you, help unemployed professionals sharpen their interviewing skills and strengthen their confidence to improve their chances of opening the doors to full-time employment.

By volunteering as little or as often as you like, you can instill hope and confidence in others while “giving back” to the community.

TURNING LIVES AROUND THROGH EMPOWERMENT …

As a volunteer you work with unemployed professionals who have already attended one of FEG’s many training/employment programs. Some of these individuals have not been through the interviewing process for some time and need to refine their skills.

The sessions are about an hour in length and take place at Fordham Law School. They offer the FEGS participant two 10-12 minute mock interviews with two different Fordham Law School student volunteers. Feedback sessions of 8 to 10 minutes follow and written comments are shared with the FEGS participant. Training and interview questions are provided.

Lunch is provided following all interview sessions.
