The Death Penalty Awareness Project seeks to raise awareness within the law school community on current death penalty issues.

We seek to develop a live forum to address the myriad flaws embedded in the U.S. capital punishment system. We will examine its practical and philosophical justifications, practical implementation, and the moral consequences.

Programs will include events featuring active attorneys, professional advocates, and exonerated persons; connecting students with attorneys and advocacy organizations; and developing student campaigns on salient death penalty issues.
