Professor Receives Award for Outstanding Service to New York Ethics Board

Fordham Law Professor Bruce Green has received the Powell Pierpoint Award for Outstanding Service to the New York City Conflicts of Interest Board.

Green served on the Board from 1995 to 2005.  The Conflicts of Interest Board is the ethics board for the City of New York, charged with interpreting and enforcing the city's Conflicts of Interest Law.  Board membership is a mayoral appointment.

Green, the Louis Stein Professor at Fordham and director of the Louis Stein Center for Law and Ethics, has been at Fordham since 1987.  Prior to teaching, Green worked in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and was a clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.
