Visiting Faculty Join Fordham Law for 2006

Fordham Law will be welcoming three visiting faculty members in the fall.

Matthew Harrington will be teaching Contracts in the fall and Sales in the spring. He is a Professor of Law at the University of Montreal and has served as the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs at George Washington University.

Susan Scafidi will be teaching Property and Copyright in the fall and International Intellectual Property and Cultural Property in the spring. She is an Associate Professor of Law at Southern Methodist University and has taught at the Yale Law School and the Georgetown University Law Center. She has served as law clerk to the Honorable Morris S. Arnold of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit.

Bernt Hugenholtz will also be teaching a short course in the fall on International Copyright. Since 2003 he has been a deputy judge at the Court of Appeal in Arnhem, Amsterdam. He is a member of the Dutch Copyright Committee that advises the Minister of Justice of the Netherlands, and acted as a consultant to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the European Commission.
