Judge Preska '73 Celebrates Constitution Day at Fordham Law
September 27, 2006The Honorable Loretta Preska '73, judge for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, delivered a speech at the Law School in honor of Constitution Day on September 22. Judge Preska spoke on the topic of judicial independence.
Constitution Day was established in 2004 as a day for education about and celebration of the nation’s fundamental governing document.
The event was sponsored by the Fordham Law Federalist Society and the Fordham Law American Constitution Society.
