Fordham Named Among Best Schools in Princeton ReviewOctober 15, 2007
Fordham Law was recently named one of the nation's top law schools in the 2008 edition of The Princeton Review's "Best 170 Law Schools." The book features profiles on each of the selected schools, with write-ups on their academics, student life, and admissions, as well as ratings for their selectivity, academics, and career placement services.
In Fordham's profile, students described the school as "the friendly law school of New York City" and "located in the center of the legal world." Career prospects are described as good for graduates because the school "is well known in the region" and Fordham's "Career Planning Center is great." The book notes that the faculty is a "good mix of practicing lawyers and theoretical academics" which creates "an excellent equilibrium between real world academic skills in the curriculum."
