U.S. News Ranks Fordham Law #38 in Nation, Evening Program #3

In its 2014 edition of "America's Best Graduate Schools," released March 12, 2013, U.S. News & World Report ranked Fordham Law No. 38 among 194 U.S. law schools included in the rankings. The School's evening program is ranked No. 3 out of 82 such programs across the country.
 
Key factors in the School’s overall ranking were the employment outcomes of the Class of 2011—whose members faced a challenging job market—and changes in the U.S. News methodology that discounted certain kinds of employment. On all of the other ranking factors, Fordham maintained its strength.
 
"While I am disappointed that we didn’t rank higher, Fordham Law remains in a highly competitive position, and the School is committed to doing all we can to support the employment and career prospects of our graduates, " said Fordham Law Dean Michael M. Martin. "Indeed, the recent National Law Journal 'Go-To Law Schools' report shows that Fordham Law places in the top 20 at NLJ 250 firms.
