New York, NY - Fordham Law School is pleased to announce the creation of a new Center on National Security. The center will conduct research, policy work, and public programming focusing on issues related to terrorism, national and global security - including cybersecurity.
Leading the Center will be Karen Greenberg, a noted expert on national security, terrorism and civil liberties. She joins Fordham Law School as a Visiting Fellow and Director of the Center. Greenberg previously served as executive director of the Center on Law and Security at NYU School of Law. At Fordham Law School, the Center on National Security will draw upon the combination of practitioners, policy makers, and academics that distinguished Greenberg's previous work.
Also working with the Center will be affiliated Fordham Law Professors Andrew Kent, an expert on national security, and Martin Flaherty and Thomas Lee of the Leitner Center for International Law and Justice. The Center will unite a broad array of Fellows including Michael Sheehan, Lawrence Wright , Peter Clarke, Peter Bergen , Joshua Dratel, Robert Windrem and Roger Cressey .
