Fordham Law Welcomes New J.D., LL.M. Classes

On Tuesday, August 30, Fordham Law's new J.D. and LL.M. students began classes. There are 479 J.D. students in the day and evening classes, selected from a pool of 7,551 applicants. The J.D. students represent 33 states and 159 colleges and universities. The new LL.M. class has 106 students representing more than 30 countries.

The top feeder schools of the J.D. class represent some of the most academically rigorous undergraduate schools in the country: NYU, Cornell, University of Pennsylvania, Columbia, Fordham, Boston College, Rutgers, George Washington University, University of Maryland, and SUNY Binghamton.

Nearly 10% of the J.D. class reported earning a graduate degree. Most represented undergraduate majors include political science, English, economics, history, and philosophy.
