Launch of CLIP-ings E-newsletter

January 10, 2011

As 2011 begins, the Center on Law and Information Policy (CLIP) is launching a new initiative: CLIP-ings, a free weekly e-newsletter that highlights significant and interesting news stories and legal developments in the field of information law. Every week, the CLIP fellows will sift through hundreds of the latest articles and legal materials, choosing a select few to highlight in CLIP-ings.

The newsletter will contain very short abstracts of 5-10 articles with current links to the full stories. CLIP-ings will highlight stories in five major areas: Internet Governance, Privacy, Information Security and Cyberthreats, Intellectual Property, and Free Expression and Censorship. In addition, the newsletter will include a Practice Notes section for the articles most relevant to legal professionals during the week, and an On The Lighter Side section for a humorous story.
If you would like to receive the newsletter, we have an opt-in policy and you will need to subscribe online here.  We hope you will opt-in and we encourage you to forward CLIP-ings to anyone you think might be interested in it.
