Fordham Law Welcomes New J.D., LL.M. ClassesAugust 31, 2010
On Monday, August 30, Fordham Law's new J.D. and LL.M. students began classes. There are 477 J.D. students in the day and evening classes, selected from a pool of 8,883 applicants. The J.D. students represent 29 states and 156 colleges and universities. The new LL.M. class has approximately 170 students who join 56 returning students. The entire LL.M. class represents nearly 50 countries.
The top feeder schools of the J.D. class represent some of the most academically rigorous undergraduate schools in the country: New York University, University of Pennsylvania, Fordham University, Boston College, Columbia University, Cornell University, University of Michigan, Brown University, George Washington University, and Princeton University.
Nearly 10% of the J.D. class reported earning a graduate degree. Most represented undergraduate majors include political science, English, economics, and history.
