I. Maurice Wormser Memorial Moot Court Competition
This year's I. Maurice Wormser Memorial Moot Court Competition concerns two corporate law issues. The court will consider: (1) Whether for-profit, secular corporations may assert free exercise rights under the First Amendment, and (2) Whether the six-factor test outlined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor is the appropriate inquiry in determining if interns are employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
This year, in an effort to be environmentally conscious, we will only distribute the bench memo, the problem, and competitor briefs by email. If this is a serious inconvenience, please let the Wormser Editor, Corey Jeffers, know (firstname.lastname@example.org or 212-636-6882.)
