Lawyering in Spanish

This course will introduce Spanish legal terminology generally and in a range of practice areas, including contract law, banking law, criminal law, family law, immigration, human rights, and international dispute resolution.
This two credit course is being offered as part of the Fordham Law 2011 Summer Session. Class will meet from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays from May 24 - July 26.
The course will include reading and drafting Spanish-language documents, role play, and guest speakers who work in the respective fields of practice. The medium of instruction will be Spanish. Participants who attend a minimum of 80% of the classes will receive a certificate upon completion of the program.
