FIFTH ANNUAL FORDHAM LAW SUMMER INSTITUTE IN NYC

The Program
The Fordham Law Summer Institute provides an overview of the U.S. legal system and explores the following substantive legal areas: Antitrust Law, Bankruptcy Law in Practice, Constitutional Law, Contract Law, Corporations, Domestic Arbitration, Information Technology Law, Intellectual Property Law, International Arbitration, Law and Economics, Mergers & Acquisitions, Product Liability Law, Securities Regulation and Insider Trading, and U.S. Trial Practice.  We also offer Legal English workshops on contract drafting and negotiation, memorandum drafting, litigation documents, and legal research.
 
The Summer Institute also features optional workshops on Applying to the LL.M. Program and Preparing for the U.S. LL.M. Experience.

Location, Location, Location
Live and study at Fordham Law School, located in Manhattan, just steps from Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, a few blocks from Central Park, and a short walk to the theater district, clubs, and restaurants that make New York City the nation’s cultural capital.

Housing
Take advantage of optional dormitory-style housing at Fordham Law School’s Lincoln Center campus.  Students check in to campus housing on Sunday, July 8, and check out on Saturday, July 28.

Extracurricular Activities
The Summer Institute includes an opening welcome reception, a picnic in Central Park, visits to a federal court and a New York City law firm, a briefing at and tour of the United Nations, and a closing ceremony and dinner.  We are organizing an outing to a Broadway show for an additional charge.

Certificates
Certificates of completion will be awarded to participants at the conclusion of the program.
