Interdisciplinary Fellowships
Fellows receive 3 academic credits and a stipend for fieldwork performed in conjunction with taking the Integrative Law and Social Work Externship Seminar. For more inforamtion about the requirements for an Externship, please visit the Externship Program's website.
In addition to the requirements of the externship program, fellows must work additional hours at their placements and submit a summary of their experience at the end of the semester.

$2000 stipend per semester, $4000-$5000 for the summer Two Semesters Required Durr Fellows are placed at Lawyers for Children, an organization dedicated to protecting the rights of children. Fellows learn practical lawyering skills including drafting documents and pleadings, conducting legal research, going to Family Court and maintaining client contact. Social work student Durr fellows interact with and support clients, provide consultation to lawyers, find and help clients access services and conduct research.
