How do professors post class cancellations?

If a professor needs to cancel a class session due to illness or personal emergency, the registrar office must be notified and the professor should send a message to the class through LawNET immediately.
  1. Login to LawNET.
  2. Click on “Academics” on the top bar.
  3. Click on the CRN of the class that you want to cancel.
  4. Click on “Student Roster” on the left-hand panel.
  5. Click “Send E-mail” and proceed to writing and sending your e-mail.

For last-minute cancellations, contact the Registrar's Office at 212-636-6803, 7888, or 7025 to get a notification posted online or to send an automated voicemail to your students.
