Virtual LabThe Law School provides students access to computer session identical to the computer lab, on their personal laptops via Citrix ® solution*. It's a virtual computer lab.
* Citrix is a software solution that allows Fordham Law Help Desk to manage student accounts more efficiently and give students the ability to run a computer session directly from Fordham Law servers.
This solution will provide the following:
- Access to the Law School's Desktop through a secure session.
- Access to your local computer's hard drive (C:\) and your personal network drive (M:\).
- Access to your locally attached printer and the school's network printers.
Start a Session
Login via plugin:
This method of accessing the network will give you better performance; however, it requires a plugin.
- Choose a resolution smaller than your laptop's computer desktop resolution.
- Clicking on one of following links will automatically download the plugin for Internet Explorer (v.6 and higher) to your laptop and to begin the session.
- Click here if you have already installed the citrix plugin and wish to connect at a different resolution.
