Fordham Law School's mission is to educate attorneys to work "in the service of others." Public service has long been a tradition at Fordham Law School and is expressed today through the activities of nearly 500 Fordham Law students who participate annually in some form of public service work that the Public Interest Resource Center:
|
houses student-initiated pro bono and community service projects;
provides a variety of career services to students and alumni interested in exploring public interest careers and complements the work of the Career Planning Center (CPC);
offers an array of programs, often co-sponsored by CPC, to introduce students to the broad range of public service practice opportunities and career paths; ;
helps you chart your public interest career path during law school;
helps alumni doing public service work, full time or on a pro bono basis, connect with each other and the law school community.
