Entertainment Law Initiative - The 16th Annual Entertainment Law Initiative Writing CompetitionOn behalf of the Grammy Foundation, the 16th Annual Entertainment Law Initiative Writing Competition is offering students the opportunity to promote discussions and debates on the most compelling legal issues facing the music industry today. The writing contest challenges students to identify, research, and write an essay with a proposed solution to a compelling legal issue facing the music industry. Also, the Entertainment Law Initiative promotes future careers in entertainment law. This contest is open to JD candidates currently enrolled at an ABA accredited law school. LLM and any other advanced degree candidates are not eligible. In addition, the applicant must be an enrolled student as of January 1, 2014. The awards are in the amount of $5,000 for first place winner and $1,500 for each of the four runners up.
