
The Linn Inn Mark T. Banner ScholarshipThe Linn Inn Mark T. Banner Scholarship was created and awarded in the name of the late Mark T. Banner, a leader in the field of patent law, and the son of former Commissioner of Patents and Trademarks Donald W. Banner. The Scholarship is part of Linn Inn's commitment to fostering the developments of intellectual property lawyers with commitment to ethics, professionalism and civity. The Scholarship is open to all currently enrolled in a Juris Doctorate program at an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school at the time of filing an application for the scholarship and who will continue in that program through the 2013 fall semester. In addition, the student must have an ability to demonstrate commitment to the pursuit of a career in intellectual property law which is an essential requirement. Also, the applicant must have exemplary writing and oral communication skills. Diversity, is considered, but is also one element among several in the award decision. The recipient of the Mark T.
