Merit ScholarshipsAll admitted students are automatically reviewed for merit scholarships. Merit scholarships are offered to admitted students on the basis of LSAT scores and undergraduate GPAs. The awards, are guaranteed for three years (four, if in the part-time evening program) as long as the student maintains satisfactory academic progress. These merit scholarships generally range from $5,000 to $25,000 per year. The Admissions Office also reviews applicants for the Francis J. Mulderig National Scholars Award and the Paul R. Brenner Scholarship. These full-tuition scholarships are offered to students from across the country on the basis of their outstanding academic credentials and demonstrated leadership potential. Although merit scholarships are offered almost exclusively to incoming students, the Dean awards Wilkinson Scholarships each June to students who achieved the highest GPAs during their first year of law school. These are guaranteed two-year awards for full-time students and three-year awards for part-time students. |
