The Thomas F. Black, Jr. Memorial Scholarship will be awarding two (2) scholarships of $20,000 each. These scholarships are a one-year, non-renewable award open to Rhode Island residents entering their first year of law school in Fall 2013. The student must be enrolled in a full time program leading towards an LL.B. or JD Degree in an United States accredited Law School. Awards will be made on the basis of demonstrated financial need, superior academic performance, community and public service, and demonstrated contacts with and commitment to the State of Rhode Island. Scholarships awards shall be exclusively for tuition and related expenses.
