The New York Bar Foundation offers the Judge Bernard S. Meyer Scholarship which was founded in 2004 by the law firm of Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. This $5,000 scholarship is open to all second-year students, enrolled in a law school in the State of New York during the spring 2011 semester, who excel in legal writing and advocacy skills. To be considered for this scholarship, you must submit an essay. The recipient will be announced no later than May 31, 2011, and the scholarship will be applied to the student's tuition for the 2011-12 academic year.
