Steve Thel is the I. Maurice Wormser Professor of Law at Fordham University, where he focuses on the areas of contracts, corporate law, investment management and securities regulation. He is the co-author, with the late Edward Yorio of Fordham Law School, of Contract Enforcement: Specific Enforcement and Injunctions (2011) and, with Harvey E. Bines, of Investment Management Law and Regulation (Aspen 2004). He has also published articles in various academic and professional journals, including the Business Lawyer, the Journal of Corporation Law, the Cornell, Fordham, Michigan, New York University, North Carolina, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Virginia and William & Mary Law Reviews, and the Hastings, Ohio State, and Yale Law Journals. He has taught at the Columbia, Cornell, Mississippi and New York University Law Schools as well as at Fordham. He is a graduate of the Harvard Law School (J.D. 1979) and North Texas State University (B.A. 1976).
