Christof R.A. Swaak is a partner in the law firm of Stibbe in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and Brussels, Belgium, and head of the firm's antitrust practice group. He studied at the College of Europe, Brugge, Belgium. He is a law graduate of Leiden University, The Netherlands, from which he received a PhD and was senior lecturer for four years at the European Institute of Leiden University. He is an ad hoc judge at the District Court of The Hague, The Netherlands, and is the co-author of several books and many articles on antitrust law. He has lectured at programs sponsored by various organizations such as the International Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
