Kate Sinding is a Senior Attorney at the Natural Resources Defense Council, where she specializes in New York urban and regional issues, including a variety of solid waste, air quality and land use matters. Prior to joining NRDC in November 2006, Kate was a partner in the law firm of Sive, Paget & Riesel, P.C. Kate is a graduate of New York University Law School (J.D. 1997), the Woodrow Wilson School of International and Public Affairs, Princeton University (M.P.A. 1997), and Barnard College (B.A. 1992, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa). Kate currently sits on the Manhattan Citizens’ Solid Waste Advisory Board, and is a member of the Environmental Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
