Job Experience
Ursula Wynhoven is the Head, Policy & Legal of the United Nations Global Compact Office - which is the UN office that administers the UN Global Compact. The Global Compact is the UN's voluntary corporate citizenship initiative in the areas of human rights, labour standards, the environment and anti-corruption. She is also responsible for the Global Compact Office's Human Rights and Labour work programmes and is the Special Assistant to the Executive Director. Before joining the United Nations, she worked with the OECD Secretariat in Paris on their corporate responsibility initiative, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, and accumulated a number of years' experience working as a lawyer in government human rights agencies and private practice in Australia and the United States.She is admitted to practice law in jurisdictions in Australia, the UK and the US and is an adjunct professor in human rights and business at the University of Reykjavik's School of Law.
