Experience


Ms. Vera Korzun is a Candidate for the Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) degree and a doctoral fellow at Fordham University School of Law.  Her research focuses on international arbitration, antitrust, and the EC competition laws.

From 2001 to 2007, she taught law courses, including international business law, international contracts law, private international law, and comparative labor and employment law, at the Universities in Belarus and the Netherlands.  She then worked as a research assistant for Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands and interned for the Directorate General for Health and Consumers of the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium.  In 2009-2010, she worked for a district attorney’s office in Madison, Wisconsin as a volunteer attorney.  For her volunteer work, in April 2010 she was nominated for a pro bono award of the Dane County Bar Association.

Ms. Korzun received a LL.M. degree from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was a Michigan Grotius Fellow.  Prior to that, she earned a European Master degree in Law and Economics from the University of Hamburg, Germany, and a LL.M. degree in International Business Law from Central European University in Budapest, Hungary.  In March 2007, she received her Candidate of Law Sciences, a post-graduate scientific degree, from the Belarusian State University, from which she also earned her first degree in law in June 2001.

Ms. Korzun is admitted to practice law as an attorney in the State of New York and qualified as a lawyer in Belarus.
