Job Experience
Professor Robert Doerfler is Intellectual Property Counsel for SVP Worldwide, where he oversees the worldwide prosecution and enforcement of the company’s intellectual property rights. Prior to moving in-house, Professor Doerfler was a Trademark Attorney at the New York office of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart. He also served as Legislative Director to Massachusetts State Senator David P. Magnani and interned in the litigation department of Adams & Adams in Pretoria, South Africa.
Education
Professor Doerfler received his undergraduate degree from The University of Memphis in 1997 and graduated from Northeastern University School of Law in 2002. In 2007, he earned a Master of Laws in intellectual Property from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
