Experience

Angelia Dickens is Corporate Counsel at the American Civil Liberties Union. Ms. Dickens earned her J.D. from Columbia Law School and her B.A. from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. She is a member of the Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York's Government Relations Subcommittee and serves on the board of directors of Groundwork, Inc, a youth development organization in East New York, Brooklyn, the Catalog for Giving, a non-profit that provides grants to after-school programs working with disadvantaged youth in New York City, and the Alumni Association of Columbia Law School. She is a member of the Women's Initiative Steering Committee of CARE, Inc. She has taught as an adjunct professor at New York Law School and has published several articles on philanthropy and the nonprofit sector.
