Fordham Dispute Resolution Society Completes Most Successful Summer Intramural Competition to DateAugust 23, 2006
The Fordham Dispute Resolution Society completed its annual Summer Intramural Competition, with over 120 students competing in the most competitive intramural in the Society's five-year history. Students seeking experiential training in various forms of Appropriate Dispute Resolution ("ADR") competed in the Intramural Competition to earn a spot on Fordham's Dispute Resolution Society. New Competitors were chosen through a rigorous selection process that judged a number of criteria-—including understanding of ADR theory, negotiation strategy, and writing style. With more applicants than any previous year, the 2006-2007 competition year hopes to continue the Society's unwavering legacy of success in inter-school mediation, negotiation, and arbitration competitions.
