2015 Fordham - Uniandes Summer Law Program

The Fordham-Uniandes Summer Law Program, held at the Universidad de los Andes (Uniandes) in Bogotá, Colombia, is accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) to award up to 6 semester hours of law school credit in international and comparative law over the summer: 3-credits over two weeks of classroom instruction; with the opportunity to earn an additional 3-credits through the program’s optional internship program, following the conclusion of the academic session.

The program is limited to 30 students and, while designed for American law students, is also open to students and professionals from around the world, affording participants the unique opportunity to live and study with Colombian and other international students and practitioners in an exciting new environment. Participants choose one of three 3-credit courses on offer, taught by distinguished Fordham and Uniandes Law faculty. The program also features field trips to Colombian law institutions, both formal and informal social events, and optional visits to historic and cultural attractions, to enable students to experience Colombian society and cultural life. All program courses and activities are conducted in English.

The Tentative Summer 2015 dates are May 30 to June 14, to be finalized by the end of November 2014.  In the meantime, please feel free to browse through the 2014 information for a general overview of the program and Contact Us anytime for further information:
