CLIP hosts a variety of events designed to explore major issues related to information law.  Through these events, CLIP seeks to engage academics, policy makers, practitioners, technologists and students in a dialogue about the role of law in the information society.

With a variety of events targeted at diverse audiences, CLIP hopes to:

  • Stimulate discussion about the evolving regulatory framework
  • Support academic inquiry in the area of information law
  • Encourage an exchange of ideas and concerns among academics, policy makers and practitioners
  • Expose future lawyers and policy makers to the major issues affecting the information society
