Manager of Legal Recruiting
Mitchell Weitz is the Manager of Legal Recruiting in the Career Planning Center at Fordham University School of Law. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the various on-campus recruiting programs and employer-sponsored events at Fordham.
Mitchell is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (S.B. in Chemistry), Harvard’s Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (M.A. in Chemistry), and Harvard Law School (J.D. cum laude). After graduation from law school, he practiced commercial litigation for twelve years, first as an associate with Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison (New York, NY), then as associate and partner with Davis & Gilbert (New York, NY), and finally as Counsel with Porzio, Bromberg & Newman (Morristown, NJ). Immediately prior to joining Fordham, he worked for eleven years in the legal search field in New York, recruiting associate- and partner-level attorneys for positions with law firms, investment banks, and alternative investment firms.
He is a member of NALP, The Association for Legal Career Professionals.
