Lauren Pearlman

Lauren Pearlman is a Consultant for the Career Planning Center at Fordham University School of Law. Lauren received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan (B.A., Political Science) and her law degree from Fordham Law School.  Upon graduation, she practiced commercial litigation at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.  Thereafter, she was the Manager of Legal Recruiting at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, where she recruited law students at schools around the country, including from Fordham, for the summer program.  In this role, Lauren planned and executed the summer program, oversaw the hiring process for laterals and for the international offices, and created programming relating to law students' professional development. She then spent 8 months in the Fordham Law Career Planning Center as a Career Counseling Consultant, and in 2013, she founded Pearlman Career Counseling, through which she provides counseling to professionals and students across sectors with a specialization in law. She is a member of the National Career Development Association.
