The Fall On-Campus Interview and Resume Collect ProgramsThese interview programs facilitate employer interviewing of second and third year day (and third and fourth year evening) J.D. students for summer and entry-level attorney positions.The Fall On-Campus Interview Program is divided into two time periods: Early Interview Week and Fall Weeks 1-8: Early Interview Week (EIW): August 14-21, 2013 Returning EIW Employers must still complete a schedule request with all the details of their schedule, including class years, the number of schedules requested, and the offices for which they are interviewing. New EIW employers should indicate three date choices in the Notes section of their schedule request. Our best efforts will be made to assign new employers one of these three dates. In subsequent years, the interview date will be assigned by the Date Rotation System described above. Resume Advance Program (RA): August 14-21, 2013 Fall Weeks 1-8: September 9 - October 31, 2013 There is no registration fee to participate in the 2013 Fall On-Campus Interview Program. This fee entitles employers to an unlimited number of schedules. During the Fall On-Campus Interview Program, employers receive resumes of interested students and are able to select 60% of their interview schedule. The remaining 40% of the interview schedule is determined by the Student Preference System (SPS). The SPS allows students to rank employers and gives preference in interview slots to those students who most highly ranked a particular employer.
Resume Collect Program: In addition to the Fall On-Campus Interview Program, we have a Resume Collect Program in the fall semester, with two separate Resume Collect dates: September 13, 2013 and October 11, 2013. Employers receive application materials from interested students and invite selected students to their offices for an interview. There is no fee to participate, and employers may indicate the specific application materials they require (e.g., cover letters, transcripts and/or writing samples).
Registration for the Fall 2013 On-Campus Interview and Resume Collect Programs begins on March 1, 2013. Register online through Symplicity at https://law-fordham-csm.symplicity.com/employers. Log in, select the OCI Tab, then the Schedule Request Tab, and select Request Schedule. From the Sessions drop-down menu select EIW, the desired week of Fall Weeks 1-8, or the desired Resume Collect, and complete the requested information.
