The Fall On-Campus Interview and Resume Collect Programs

These interview programs facilitate employer interviewing of second and third year day (and third and fourth year evening) J.D. students for summer and entry-level attorney positions.

The Fall On-Campus Interview Program is divided into two time periods: Early Interview Week and Fall Weeks 1-8:

Early Interview Week (EIW): August 13-20, 2014
EIW Date Rotation System: EIW dates are assigned on a rotating basis such that an employer is assigned the next consecutive day of the week from the day they were assigned the prior year. For example, an employer that interviewed on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 (Day One of EIW 2013) will be assigned Thursday, August 14, 2014 (Day Two of EIW 2014).

Returning EIW Employers must still complete a schedule request with all the details of their schedule, including class years, the number of schedules requested, and the offices for which they are interviewing.

New EIW employers should indicate three date choices in the Notes section of their schedule request. Our best efforts will be made to assign new employers one of these three dates. In subsequent years, the interview date will be assigned by the Date Rotation System described above.

Resume Advance Program (RA): August 13-20, 2014
Details of this program are available here.

Fall Weeks 1-8: September 3 - October 24, 2014
Employers should choose the week they are interested in interviewing and indicate three date choices in the Notes section of their schedule request. Our best efforts will be made to assign new employers one of these three dates.

There is no registration fee to participate in the 2014 Fall On-Campus Interview Program. This fee entitles employers to an unlimited number of schedules.

During the Fall On-Campus Interview Program, employers receive resumes of interested students and are able to select 60% of their interview schedule. The remaining 40% of the interview schedule is determined by the Student Preference System (SPS). The SPS allows students to rank employers and gives preference in interview slots to those students who most highly ranked a particular employer.

Resume Collect Program:  In addition to the Fall On-Campus Interview Program, we have a Resume Collect Program in the fall semester, with two separate Resume Collect dates: September 12, 2014 and October 10, 2014.  Employers receive application materials from interested students and invite selected students to their offices for an interview. There is no fee to participate, and employers may indicate the specific application materials they require (e.g., cover letters, transcripts and/or writing samples).
