Judge Paul Joseph Kelly, Jr. Invitational Trial CompetitionThe Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center at Fordham University School of Law is pleased to announce the second annual Judge Paul Joseph Kelly, Jr. Invitational Trial Competition. We will hold the competition at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York Saturday, October 27, 2012, and Sunday, October 28, 2012.The competition will feature two preliminary rounds in which teams of two lawyers will try the case on each side. Successful teams will advance through quarterfinal and semifinal rounds. The championship round will be judged by a special guest judge to be announced. Witnesses will be provided throughout the competition. There will be a banquet for all competitors Saturday evening, October 27, at which we will announce the teams advancing to the semifinals. At the Championship Round Sunday, the judges will announce the competition winner.
