The Fordham Center on European Union Law was established in 1984. The Center provides a teaching and resource facility devoted to European Union law, as well as European Union and international antitrust.

Since 1990, the Center has been under the directorship of Professor Roger J. Goebel.

These seminars are offered to undergraduate and graduate law students and non-matriculating students such as corporate counsel, outside counsel, and government officials. The seminars on European Union Law include lectures by:

Symposia, public lectures and luncheon discussions with bar and business groups are also sponsored by the Center.

The Center develops teaching materials for the above seminars. Professor Goebel is co-author of Bermann, Goebel, Davey & Fox, Cases on European Community Law (2d ed. 2002) in use in over 60 U.S., Canadian and European law schools. The Center is also helping to increase the library and research resources in the areas of European Community law and international antitrust and trade.
