Fordham Law Moot Court Program Ranked #8 in Nation

Fordham Law's moot court program has been ranked #8 in the country out of over 100 similar programs. The rankings are compiled by the University of Houston Law Center's Blakely Advocacy Institute and use data for the 2008 – 2009 academic year. The scoring methodology incorporates team awards as well as Best Brief and Best Speaker awards. Moot court competitions that were held throughout the year are divided into three tiers related to the size of the competition.

"This was a year of championships, finalist awards, and oral and brief prizes," said Professor Maria L. Marcus, advisor to Fordham's inter-school moot court program. "Fordham students are highly motivated and continually in the winner's circle."
