The goals and objectives that come out of this process will allow the Law School and its alumni to strengthen the school through better programming and increased opportunities for alumni to interact with the faculty, students, and fellow alumni.  A critical aspect of this initiative is hearing the alumni community’s thoughts on whether the services and activities currently available fit the needs of our alumni community. For this process to be successful and beneficial, we would like to hear from all alumni—those who are dues paying members of the FLAA and those who are not. After completing the survey, email your classmates or other alumni at your place of employment and encourage them to complete the survey. Class NotesFrank P. Lucianna ’51 has been selected by the New Jersey State Bar Association as the Professional Lawyer of the Year. Lucianna has also been selected for the Lifetime Lawyer Achievement Award by the Bergen County Bar Association. John D. Feerick ’61, professor and former dean of Fordham Law School, has been named the 2011 recipient of the American Bar Association's Robert J. Kutak Award. The Kutak Award is given annually to honor an individual who has made significant contributions to the collaboration of the academy, the bench, and the bar. Peter J. Neckles ’77 has joined Duff & Phelps Corp. as a managing director in the Global Restructuring Advisory practice. Leblang ’84 is listed as one of Human Resource Executive magazine’s 2011 Most Powerful Employment Attorneys. The listing, which appeared in the magazine on June 16 and attracted over 5000 nominations in the immigration, employment and benefits arena, marks the third consecutive year that Leblang made the Most Powerful list. Leblang is chair of Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel’s Employment Law department. Gregory G. Calabro ’87 has joined Morrit Hock & Hamroff as a partner in the firm’s landlord/tenant practice. Calabro was the principal of Calabro & Associates. Hon. Claire C. Cecchi ’89 has been unanimously approved for promotion to U.S. District Court judgeship by the Senate. She previously worked for 14 years in private practice, primarily as a civil litigator, and had been assistant corporate counsel for New York City. Pagano ’03 of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP has been elected to the partnership. Pagano specialtizes in business reorganization, financial restructuring, bankruptcy, and creditors' rights. Jill Sulkes ’04 has been appointed head of the U.S. financial institutions practice at Marsh, an insurance broker and risk advisor. Ralph Lawrence Wolf ’06 and Hannah Suzanne Sholl were married on June 5, 2011 at the Manhattan Penthouse, an event space in Manhattan. Wolf is a court attorney to Monica Drinane, the supervising judge of Bronx County Family Court. David Cole ’07 and Nicole Washienko ’07 were married in Stonington, Connecticut on May 14, 2011. The couple celebrated their marriage at Saltwater Farm Vineyard with many members of the class of 2007. Cole is a litigation associate at Reitler Kailas & Rosenblatt LLC, where his practice is focused on maritime matters. Washienko is an associate at Morrison Mahoney LLP, where she litigates product liability and insurance coverage disputes.
