ScholarshipsPerhaps more than any other donation, gifts to the school’s scholarship fund demonstrate a personal commitment to the students of Fordham Law. These are remarkable individuals who bring an astounding mix of talents, interests, and aspirations to the law school. Scholarships make it possible to put a Fordham education within reach for gifted students regardless of their financial position. Fordham Law is committed to ensuring that the legal profession is as diverse as our larger society. The generosity of the alumni and friends who contribute scholarships directly supports that commitment.THE FRANCIS J. MULDERIG NATIONAL SCHOLARS PROGRAM Through the generosity of a number of individual donors and a challenge grant from the Louis Calder Foundation, this program funds tuition scholarships for accomplished and deserving students. The program allows Fordham to compete with the very best law schools to attract top students. In addition to the Mulderig National Scholars Program, which includes a number of named scholarships under its umbrella, Fordham offers more than 100 scholarships that honor professors, students, alumni, and their families. They are awarded for a variety of reasons, including financial need, academic merit, career aspirations, and scholarly interests. Photos from the 2009 Scholarship Reception
