Jill Miller, the principal of Jill Miller & Associates, P.C., focuses on formulating sophisticated and highly personalized estate plans for individuals and families. She also has a particular expertise in estate matters affecting non U.S. citizens and non-traditional families. Jill takes a detailed and holistic approach to the administration of estates. Complicated probate issues are addressed and settled. Estate tax returns are prepared to minimize the risk of audit.

Jill founded the firm in January of 2004, after working for over a decade in trusts & estates law. She began her legal career at a large Wall Street law firm. Thereafter, she managed the trusts and estates department of a small downtown law firm and then went on to become partner of a mid-town tax litigation firm, where she headed the trusts and estates department.

Jill is a frequent lecturer on estate planning at both private and public symposia. She has presented or spoken at programs sponsored by the American Bar Association, Division of Taxation,the Financial Planning Association of New York, New York State Society of CPAs, Lorman Education Services, Yale Law School, Cornell Law School, the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, the New York City Police Academy, and the Metropolitan Jewish Geriatric Foundation. Jill appeared on the WBAI radio program, Financially Speaking. In the wake of September 11, Jill provided her services to the American Red Cross and presented the "Basics of Estate Planning" to aid affected families with their estate issues. Her publication "A Practical Guide to the Post-Mortem Qualified Domestic Trust" appeared in the April 2001 edition of the Warren's Heaton Legislative & Case Digest (Lexis Publishing). Jill is an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School,teaching Decedent's Estates since 2005. Jill is AV Peer Review rated.

Jill and her husband, Michael, have two daughters, Sarah and Dana. Jill enjoys boating, gardening, painting, and watching movies.
