Professional Experience


Zehra G. Kavame is a Doctor of the Science of Law (S.J.D.) candidate and teaching fellow at Fordham Law School. Her research area is corporations, comparative corporate law, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Prior to her graduate legal studies at Fordham, she was working at Vale Columbia Center on Sustainable International Investment of the Columbia Law School as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar conducting research on sustainable international investment and regulatory policies, resource revenue management, and development planning.

Focusing on corporations, corporate finance, financial statement analysis, foreign direct investment, and gender issues, she graduated from Columbia Law School with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in 2008. She is a Business Administration graduate of Istanbul University and Law graduate of Bahcesehir University. Zehra has over ten years of education and experience combining law, accounting and business administration
