- Mr. Forry is a university professor in international finance and taxation who currently divides his academic efforts among US and European law and business schools, as well as counseling private clients on international activities. He has been, inter alia, founding partner of Forry Golbert Singer & Gelles, a California boutique law firm focused on foreign investments in the US; senior partner with law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, variously in charge of the firm’s California offices and of its international section’s Pacific Rim and Latin American practices, and a member of its firmwide Governing Board; partner with Ernst & Young LLP based in New York as initiator and first global leader of its Project Finance group and as director of the firm’s Foreign Legal Services Alliances; and international counsel with Withers Bergman LLP, the first international law firm dedicated to the business and personal interests of private clients.
- Mr. Forry has served on the Advisory Group to the US Commissioner of Internal Revenue and on numerous bar-related committees and projects. He has authored or co-authored five books and over 40 articles on international taxation, finance and investment.
