Wullianallur “RP” Raghupathi is Professor of Information Systems in the Schools of Business at Fordham University. He is also a Principal at Sudsun Consulting Group, LLC, based out of New Jersey. Dr. Raghupathi has spent most of his career finding ways to transform businesses through information technology.  His areas of specialization include applying IT to healthcare, corporate governance, sustainability, business analytics, and the business & legal aspects of entrepreneurship and intellectual property. Prior to Fordham, he was a faculty at California State University, Chico, and a principal with Nexus Systems & Services in northern California. Dr. Raghupathi is a licensed attorney in Hyderabad, India.

Dr. Raghupathi has published over 90 articles that focus on the transformational aspects of information technology in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. His most recent articles have focused on the role of information technology in corporate governance, health care, and sustainability. He has also published numerous articles on the application of artificial intelligence and decision support techniques to legal reasoning in corporate “litigate or settle” decisions involving product liability.

Dr. Raghupathi serves on the Research Advisory Panel of Prosocial Applications, Inc. the makers of SmartPHR, a personal health record system.

Dr. Raghupathi received his LL.M in Intellectual Property in Information Technology magna cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, the MBA and Ph.D. in Information Systems degrees from The University of Texas at Arlington, a Masters in Commerce from Sri Venkateswara University, India, and a Bachelors in Commerce and Bachelors in Law from Osmania University, India.
