When are updated pages published to the web site?

Pages that are released from the work flow are sent to the publishing queue, M-F.  Depending on the current load, publishing can take a few minutes or up to an hour.  Publishing load is usually lighter in the morning.  Pages should be released from the work flow by 5:00 PM for the pages to publish on the same day.

If you need to publish updated pages immediately, contact LawHelpDesk@fordham.edu during business hours, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday excluding holidays.

Why weren't the changes I made yesterday published to the web site?

There are two possible reasons why changes are not published overnight;  first, the page or the content of the page is in draft status and was not released to the workflow; second, the page or the content of the page was not released from the workflow by the Office of Communications.

Pages or the content of pages are not published when they are in draft status or they were not released from the workflow by the Office of Communications.  All content should be released before 5:00 PM, M-F, for content to publish.
